Terms of Service

Last updated: April 20, 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By purchasing or using a Trovio eSIM plan, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our service.

2. eSIM plans and activation

Plan validity: Data plans are valid for the stated duration from first activation — not from purchase date. A 7-day plan starts counting when you first connect to a network on that eSIM.

Data allocation: Data is allocated as stated in the plan. Once consumed, data speeds may be reduced or connection may cease depending on the plan type.

QR code: Each QR code may only be used once and on one device. Lost or expired QR codes are handled case-by-case by our support team.

Device compatibility: You are responsible for ensuring your device is eSIM-compatible and unlocked before purchase. Trovio does not offer refunds for purchases made on incompatible or locked devices.

3. Payments and refunds

Pricing: All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes. Prices are subject to change; the price at time of purchase is your contracted price.

Refund policy: We offer a full refund if your eSIM fails to activate through no fault of your own (device compatibility confirmed, activation attempted). No refunds are issued for activated plans or plans where data has been consumed.

Disputes: Payment disputes must be raised within 30 days of purchase via support@trovio.app.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use Trovio eSIMs for:

  • Commercial resale or redistribution of data
  • Use in SIM farms, call centres, or other automated systems
  • Any activity that violates local laws at the destination country
  • Generating excessive traffic that disrupts network operations

Trovio and our carrier partners may suspend plans that violate these terms without refund.

5. Service availability

Network coverage and speeds depend on local carrier infrastructure. Trovio provides coverage information as guidance — actual speeds and coverage vary by location. We do not guarantee specific data speeds.

6. Limitation of liability

Trovio's liability is limited to the value of the plan purchased. We are not liable for consequential damages including, but not limited to, missed communications, financial losses, or travel disruptions caused by connectivity issues.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka.
